ANGER MANAGEMENT

Chaplain Otto Ministries Veterans Outreach is committed to supporting veterans facing tough challenges. Using a nationally approved Faith Based Anger Management course.

We see incarcerated veterans as the modern-day POW/MIA – They are a prisoner of the war in their mind and are missing in action from the ones they love.

Our class experienced a significant expansion, surpassing our initial expectations. We welcomed 47 incarcerated veterans and 17 general population inmates, who collectively completed our 12-week program in 2024. This remarkable achievement resulted in a total of 63 graduates.

Anger Management

Otto Ministries Veterans Outreach is committed to providing professional support to veterans who are facing challenging circumstances. Our nationally approved faith-based anger management course is specifically designed to assist incarcerated veterans who may be struggling with managing their Anger, PTSD, Substance Abuse, and/or Suicidal Thoughts. We understand that for these veterans are POW’s – Prisoners of War in their own minds, and they are MIA – Missing in Action from those they love. With our program, we are confident in our ability to help them create remedial actions overcome obstacles and weapon jams of life, without taking of becoming a casualty.

Community Outreach

Our mission extends beyond the confines of incarceration; we are dedicated to bringing our purpose from prison to the streets. We have garnered significant interest in our initiatives from veterans, churches, and the motorcycle community, allowing us the opportunity to share impactful messages at various events, including bike blessings.

Veteran Outreach

We are deeply engaged in the veteran motorcycle community, having traveled over 22,000 miles since March 2023 to share the Gospel with veterans. We have established a partnership with Honor Flight Columbus and are organizing fundraising efforts to attend and escort our heroes. Additionally, we have connected with the Ohio Veterans Nursing Home and have scheduled visits to engage with the residents. One of the most challenging yet vital responsibilities we undertake involves visiting veterans in hospitals and proceeding their funerals.

Prison Ministry

Our organization is dedicated to reaching individuals incarcerated in Ohio’s correctional facilities. Chaplain Otto has been actively involved in scheduling, facilitating, teaching, and preaching since 2019, having completed over 150 outreach trips to prisons.

We have had the privilege of serving, preaching, and teaching in various locations, including Lucasville, Lebanon, Lancaster, Chillicothe, Pickaway, and will be expanding our reach to Madison Correctional in January 2025.

Through our comprehensive outreach efforts, we have touched the lives of over 1,000 inmates across Ohio’s prisons, providing them with a lifeline and reminding them of their forgiven and not forgotten.
